A favicon, short for favorites icon is the image you usually see at the top left part of your browser just beside the title bar. By default you will see Blogger's favicon.
Changing it will give your blog its own favicon just like a company having its own logo. Just follow this simple tutorial on how to change favicon in Blogger if you want your blog to have its own look.
First you need to prepare your own favicon. You can make your own favicon using Photoshop or you can just search for free favicons you might like in the internet. Making your own is better because you can pimp it on how you want it to look like. Here is a simple favicon I just created using Photoshop.
You may also need to convert it into an .ico file. This can be done using an image converter software or just convert it online, just search favicon generator in the internet and select one. Also remember that your favicon should not exceed 100kb in size because it is the maximum file size limit of favicon in Blogger.
Now that you already have your favicon you can now start putting it in your blog. Follow these steps:
1. From your Blogger dashboard click on Layout to go to your Layout Tab.
2. On the Layout Tab you will see the favicon on the top left part. Just click edit.

3. A new tab will pop out. Click Choose File and browse for your favicon in your computer the click SAVE.
4. Click Save arrangement to save changes. Also remeber that it will take some time for your new favicon to be updated so just be patient.
